Beautify Product Review: Philosophy The Microdelivery Peel

As an Black woman hyperpigmentation can very hard to get rid of. The summer can make it worse especially if you're not wearing SPF everyday like you should (shame on me).  I had been looking to get an actual chemical peel but decided against it since I have an actual job and couldn't go out in public if my skin was peeling. So I search online for a mild peel and narrowed it down to two choices: REN Resurfacing AHA Concentrate and Philosophy The Microdelivery Peel.

After reading so many reviews on both products, I decided to go with the Microdelivery Peel since I could get a discount (haha).

Product Description:
What it is:
A two-step, exfoliating, skin makeover.

What it is formulated to do:
Resurface - The Microdelivery Peel not only exfoliates the skin, it delivers vitamin C and peptides to the skin. This completely new approach to skin rejuvenation resurfaces and replenishes the skin at the same time.

What else you need to know:
Kit includes a 2 oz The Microdelivery Peel, Lactic/Salicylic Activating Gel and a 2 oz Vitamin C/Peptide Resurfacing Crystals.

My Thoughts:
I love this product! I've been using it for a month now. It doesn't mention how often you should use the peel, but I use it once a week. My skin feels marvelous. It's very smooth and it brings the blackheads to the surface so that they're easy to extract. I will continue to use the product to see if there are anymore changes in my skin.

The crystals smell heavenly and can be a little abrasive. If you have sensitive skin you might want to be a little gentle when massaging them into the skin.

When you add the liquid to the crystals it becomes warm and it feels very refreshing.

You must wear protective sun screen daily after using this product! Your skin becomes very delicate and sensitive since this is a mild peel. You want to make sure you keep your skin protected from the environmental aggressors.

  5. The product is indeed a good one but I think that no cream can beat your pigmentation as you get that in your genes! So these products are hardly of any use I feel.
